Book Club
This group meets monthly to discuss a current book chosen by group members. members who are out-of-town can participate in discussions via email as well.
The Iona-Hope Book Club will meet on November 18 at 1:00 in the church library/meeting room.
We are not discussing a book this month because we will be selecting the books to be read during 2012. As in the past, everyone interested in participating is asked to recommend two or three books to the group. The only requirement is that the books should be discussable.
After these short book talks, we will vote by secret ballot and the top 10 books will be our choices for next year. The person who has recommended a book will most likely be asked to facilitate the discussion of that book. A list of the selected books will be published in the December New Hope.
We encourage anyone who is interested in being a member of the group to come to this meeting which is always a great deal of fun.
